Shamrock Golf Team off to Good Start
MOUNDSVILLE – The 2026 Fall Barnesville Golf Season launched Friday at the Moundsville Country Club at the Ohio Valley Golf League (OVGL) Match Play/Scramble.
Barnesville Team “A” claimed the top spot for the Boys Division Scramble edging out Union Local by one shot with a score of 8 under par 28. The Shadyside team was the Girls Division Scramble winner.

Kennedy Little was the Girls Match Play Champ at the contest while Union Local’s Liam Roe was Boys Match Play Champ.
Barnesville’s “B” team of Landon Guy, Rylan Donaldson, Ayden Kemp, Ian Leach was 2-over par at 38 while the “C” team of Ridge Burghy, Zander Ankrom, Owen Miller, Bracyn Dimitro was 1-over par at 37.
