James Marion Cain
James Marion Cain, 82, of Cambridge, Ohio passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026 at his home. He was born in West Virginia on May 30, 1944 to the late Emery and Lessie (Wilson) Cain.
Jim was a graduate of Union Local High School and attended the Bethesda Christian Church. Jim was a lifelong mechanic and foreman in the coal industry. He was an avid stock car owner and driver.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard Cain and Glenn Cain; sisters, Marilyn Stewart and Freda Mueller.
Jim is survived by his wife, Judy (Baker) Cain; children, John Cain of St. Clairsville, Julie (Jim) Kaiser of Barnesville, Heidi (Bill) Combs of Cambridge, and Jeff (Rhonda) Jones of Cambridge; eight grandchildren, Tyler, Ashley, Bailey, Kayla, Andrew, Chloe, Corey, Alex, and Madison; thirteen great-grandchildren; sister, Janice (Charlie) Copley of Bethesda; brothers-in-law, Mark (Ganelle) Baker, Steve Baker, Jim (Diane) Baker; sister-in-law, Kay (Wib) Orme; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026 from 4:00pm until the time of the service at 6:00pm with Minister Tim Snyder officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family at Ebenezer Cemetery in Bethesda, Ohio.
