Robert “Bob” Neff Jr

Robert “Bob” Neff Jr., 65, of Elizabeth, West Virginia, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, with his loving family by his side.

Born on June 12, 1961, in Sistersville, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Robert Neff Sr. and Maxine Fiest Neff.

Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army and later in the Army National Guard before retiring from military service. He was also a devoted Christian whose faith guided his life. Bob was a member of Wirt Lodge No. 82 A.F. & A.M. and American Legion Post 15. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and sharing a good laugh with family and friends through his love of comedy. He will be remembered for his kindness, warm sense of humor, his service to his country, and the love he had for his family and friends.

On September 22, 1984, he married the love of his life, Teresa Goff Neff, who survives.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Allison Neff and Amber Dotson (Drew); his beloved grandchildren, Landon Dotson and Pierce Dotson; his siblings, Kim Beaver (Jeff), Brenda McComan (Larry), Patrick Neff, and Robin Carr (Tracy); as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father, Robert Neff Sr., and his mother, Maxine Fiest Neff.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Matheny Whited Funeral Home on Sunday, August 9, 2026. Family and friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., with a memorial service beginning at 4:00 p.m. Mark Lowe will officiate.
