Bank Expansion Planned
BELLAIRE – In a legal notice published August 11, Bellaire-based Belmont Savings Bank announced plans to open a branch bank near the Centre Market, at 2146 Market Street at the northeast corner of 22nd Street in Wheeling. The building at this location served as a branch bank of another financial institution for decades.

Last year, the bank marked its 140th year in business. In addition to the Bellaire headquarters, branch offices are located in Barnesville, Bellaire, Powhatan Point and St. Clairsville.
