Michael Tavoletti
Michael Tavoletti, 76, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 10, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born October 4, 1949 in Cleveland, Ohio, a son of the late Aldo and Louise (Tancredi) Tavoletti.
He leaves behind his wife of 36 years, Nina; his daughters, Alyssa (Hunter) Wagner and Brianna “Tootie” (Jordan) Reusser; his brother, Kenny (Nona) Tavoletti; his adored granddaughter, Reagan Wagner; and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Michael and Beth Velek. He also leaves behind countless friends who were never simply friends to Michael—they were family.
Michael had many different jobs throughout his early life, but it was his career as a farrier that became the profession he truly fell in love with. He took great pride in his work and genuinely enjoyed the people, horses, and community that came with it. His love for the equine community was a special part of who he was.
Michael’s other great passion was farming. His farm was his little piece of heaven. It was where he found peace, purpose, and happiness, and where so many wonderful memories were made.
But above all else, Michael’s greatest pride and joy were his daughters. They were his everything. He often said he had no idea how he got so lucky. Those who knew Michael knew just how deeply he loved his family, and that love will live on in them forever.
His absence will leave an emptiness that cannot be filled, but we find comfort knowing that he is now at peace.
To honor Michael’s wishes, there will be no services.
