Switzerland District Boil Order
JERUSALEM – Due to waterline repairs, the Switzerland of Ohio Water District issued a precautionary 48-hour boil order for all consumable water on Monday. A waterline break affected the system earlier that morning.
Customers should vigorously boil water for at least one minute prior to human consumption or dental hygiene use.
The district does not recommend washing any white or light-colored clothing as there may be periods of discolored water and/or low water pressure during the boil order.
The boil order is in effect until 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 19th. The announcement notes “all calls have been sent to those affected by this notice.”
