Virginia M. Edwards

Virginia M. Edwards, 94, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away peacefully on August 16, 2026. She was born in Somerton, Ohio on March 15, 1932, a daughter of the late Wilber and Mary (Warfield) Cutshaver.

Virginia retired from the Dayron Company. She loved listening to music, especially outdoor concerts. She enjoyed playing cards, dominoes, and other games with family and friends. She liked traveling abroad and in the US; her favorite vacation spot was Marco Island in Florida. If she got a few days from work, she was off to visit someone or some place.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Casey Edwards; children, Danny Richards and Terry Richards.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Bobby (Cindy) Richards; daughter, Lisa Luzio; five grandchildren; siblings, Wilbur “Lee” (Jenny) Cutshaver, Joyce Cutshaver, Shirley Cutshaver, Shelly Cutshaver; plus many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling hours will be on Thursday, August 20, 2026 from 11am until the time of service at 12pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, Barnesville Chapel, 702 East Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio 43713. Pastor Ed Eberhart will be officiating. Burial at Crestview Cemetery will follow.
