Monday, August 17, 2026
1:29 am – alarm drop
3:18 am – caller stating that he believes a person is on fentanyl and drinking heavily. Caller stated he did not want to see the person overdose.
2:38 pm – caller asking if an officer could assist with a patient. A male is refusing to stay in his room.
3:21 pm – person called back reporting that the male is now tearing up the room. Caller requested the officer return. Officer transported the male to the Sargus Juvenile Center in St. Clairsville.
6:01 pm – male caller asked what can be done about his vehicle that someone else has in their possession. Male was slurring his speech and began cursing the dispatcher.
6:15 pm – male called back again. An officer talked to him. He became irate and returned to cursing.
10:14 pm – traffic stop on State Route 800 North. Warning issued for no headlights.
10:41 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street near Sunrise Rental.
10:44 pm – caller from High Street reporting juveniles wearing all black are coming up over the hill from Buckeye Steel. They are messing around with properties.
11:27 pm – caller from High Street requesting an officer regarding a possible stolen vehicle.
Saturday, August 22, 2026
8:32 pm – 911 hang up call from South Lincoln Avenue. Officer made contact with a female who decided to leave for the night due to a verbal domestic situation.
8:37 pm – caller from South Gardner Street reporting a possible loose dog. Caller called back to report it may be a goat.
10:28 pm – caller from Euclid Avenue requesting a welfare check. They haven’t talked to the person in a few hours who might be having a medical emergency. Officer made contact and reported everything is fine.
11:03 pm – female caller reports her dog got loose.
Sunday, August 23, 2026
2:41 am – caller from Morgantown Avenue reporting a man chased his daughter with a gun.
8:27 am – traffic stop on West Church Street. Warning issued.
9:15 am – female from South Broadway Street reports that there are two baby goats heading down the street.
9:16 am – goats are located at The Enclave of Barnesville (400 Carrie Avenue) and are, again, in custody.
11:11 am – caller from Pine Lane reports water overflowing from a manhole.
1:39 pm – individual on station reporting a person has been sending messages to his ex-girlfriend again.
4:02 pm – traffic stop on State Route 800 North.
4:36 pm – female on station reporting that her son’s ex-girlfriend won’t return her firearms. Dispatcher advised that this is a civil matter. Female filled out a statement.
4:46 pm – person on station reporting a young girl on a skateboard was being followed by a male in a pickup truck.
8:11 pm – traffic stop on West Main Street.
8:48 pm – officer on Hunts Avenue investigating a complaint about a barking dog.
10:48 pm – male on station with a possible broken hand is seeking medical assistance.
