William Kenneth “Kenny” Wilcox
William Kenneth “Kenny” Wilcox January 2, 1953 – August 29, 2026
passed away peacefully at home and had a personal angel with him when he was called home.
Kenny loved God, Country, Family, his dog Doobie, and Friends.
Kenny was born in Barnesville, Ohio to the late Clarence and Flossie Wilcox.
Kenny was also preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond, Bob, Don, Jim, Pete and Dale Wilcox.
Brother-In-Law Gene Milhoan,
Sister’s-In-Law Jeannetta, Helen, Shirley and Charlotte.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Dennis (Jody), Butch (Helen), Sandy Milhoan and Mary (Tony) Bussard. He is also survived by his sister’s-in-law Margaret, Norma and Glenda and many nieces and nephews.
There is so much to be said about Kenny. Don’t think he ever knew a stranger. He could talk to anyone, and never seemed to be at a loss for words. He could tell a good story and tried to always make folks smile. He moved to Virginia in the 70’s because he said, ” the winter’s weren’t as cold down here.” He also had many a nicknames, Wild man, Skinny Kenny, Redneck, and Glassman to name a few.
He installed glass (windshields) for almost 50 years. He was a master installer. If the windshield needed replaced from a VW Bug to a Kenworth, he was who you wanted doing the work. He taught many tech’s over the years. The last 20 years of his career he owned Precision Auto Glass. He loved his work.
He loved helping folks when he was able to, both big and small. Mostly unlocking car doors from absent minded family and friends. When Kenny retired so did his slim jim. He said, “that slim jim was plum wore out!” If you needed a ride, gallon of gas, chicken noodle soup and ginger ale, a shoulder, an ear he was there.
Kenny was special. He brought joy and happiness to many lives. It seemed he could make things better just by being there. For the people that loved him, he loved them more.
There isn’t a service, per his wishes. He wants folks to celebrate him both near and far in their own way, have a cook out, tell stories, smile, laugh, shed some tears and remember him.
Kenny you will be love and missed greatly.
