Thursday, August 27, 2026
1:15 am — Bond Drive, Morristown. A caller reported domestic trouble at the Utica RV Park. A deputy responded and separated the parties for the night. A female was given a ride to Dollar General, where she was picked up.
6 am — Reco Road, Belmont. A sergeant responded to Sleep Inn Suites and was waiting for a squad for a subject with mental health issues.
2:24 pm — Bend Fork Road, Jacobsburg. A caller reported that she was being harassed at her job in Shadyside by another female who did not work there. Information was taken for a report.
4:20 pm — Flushing. A caller reported dirt bikes on the roadway. An officer responded and spoke with individuals, including a juvenile and his mother. The officer advised that the next incident would result in the bike being towed and charges being filed against the parents.

2:26 am— National Road, Belmont. Deputy conducted a business check. All appeared secure.
5:50 am—Pilot Travel Center, Belmont. Dispatch advised a driver lost a trailer in the middle of the road. ODOT on scene and will take over.
7:50 am— Belmont-Morristown Road, Belmont. Deputy on school patrol at Union Local Schools.
9:12 am— Lafferty Road, Flushing. Deputy out for follow up of an investigation.
12:50 pm— Barnesville (Kirkwood Twp.) Caller reported inappropriate photos of his daughter. Deputies responded. Information gathered for a report.
4:58 pm— Armstrong-Centerville Road, Jacobsburg. Special detail regarding the welfare of a female at a campsite. Negative contact.
5:34 pm— Rice Avenue, Bethesda. Investigate a complaint regarding a custody issue. The matter will be handled civilly.
9:22 pm— Belmont-Morristown Road, Belmont. Rear end accident in McDonald’s drive thru lane with striking vehicle leaving the scene. Witnesses provided rear license plate number. Later, the owners of that vehicle called in reporting they are staying at Barkcamp campgrounds.
10:32 pm— East High Street, Flushing, Deputy assisting Flushing Police with a traffic stop.

3:21 am—McDowell Road, Barnesville (Somerset Twp.). Caller reports seeing a male with something in his hand standing near the neighbor’s property. Contact made with the man. He reports his car broke down and he is staying with a relative who lives on that road.
12:43 pm— N. Bridge Street, Belmont. Caller requesting a welfare check on her son. Contact made. All seems fine.
9:59 pm— Lafferty Road, Flushing. Caller reports threatening text messages from an ex-spouse. Information taken for a report. Caller will follow up with the courts for a Protective Order.
Sunday, August 30, 2026
2:42 am— Johnson North Road, Bethesda. Male and female in verbal argument. Deputies arrived on the scene and spoke with both parties. Verbal dispute only. Both parties will stay separated for the remainder of the night.
4:12 pm— Church Street, Jacobsburg. Dispatch received a text to 911 regarding someone on fire and the texter requesting help. Further communications were autofill answers by the texter. Deputies responded to the area with negative contact with the caller or locating a fire.
5:33 pm— Virginia Street, Bethesda. Caller reporting a Temporary Protective Order violation. Deputies determined there is no such order in place. They spoke with both parties who revealed there is a court date set for this matter, and they were advised to act in a civil manner in the meantime.
5:56 pm— Reco Road, Morristown (Love’s Travel Center). A semi struck another while attempting to park. Information and photos taken for a report.
11:26 pm— Morristown-Flushing Road, Flushing. Suspicious vehicle reported. Vehicle is parked at residence with open door. Owner was notified who advised everything is okay.
Monday, August 31, 2026
7:02 am— Belmont-Morristown Road, Belmont. Deputy on School Zone patrol.
3:17 pm— Flushing (Union Twp.). Juvenile male is tearing up house and dented car. Deputy out with male in park. No one wants to report anything or give a statement. Juvenile returned to family who will seek help
5:16 pm— Jerusalem (Somerset Twp.). Call about a juvenile male making threats and yelling at his mother. Upon arrival, deputies found the male to be calm. Probation officer allowed the juvenile to stay at the home overnight.
10:20 pm — Belmont Road, Bethesda. Report of four or five people fighting. Upon arrival, deputies learned female had a Temporary Protective Order (PTO) against her husband. Husband came to the apartment, pushed open the screen door and knocked a neighbor to the ground who came to her defense.
A second neighbor also responded. Husband began fighting with neighbors before one neighbor escorted him off the property. Husband made several threats before walking towards the four-way stop.
Deputies located husband in Barnesville taking him into custody for violating the TPO. He was treated at Barnesville Hospital before he was transported to Belmont County jail.
Tuesday, September 1, 2026
11:09 am— Waterworks Road, Barnesville. Assisting Barnesville Police clear a residence after receiving permission from the mother.
11:43 am— National Road, Belmont. Central Dispatch received a call about a vehicle striking the Suds & Duds building. Information taken for a report.
6:03 pm— W. Main Street, Holloway. Deputy dispatched to Holloway Vol. Fire Dept. where a vehicle was parked blocking the garage door. It was determined who owns the vehicle, but the owner was not on the scene. Since the vehicle is on private property, the fire department was advised they could have the vehicle towed.
