Claudis M. Brubaker

Claudis M. Brubaker, 95, of Powhatan, Ohio passed away unexpectedly at his home on September 10, 2026. He was born on October 8, 1930, a son of the late Hugh and Emma (Lynn) Brubaker.

Skip retired as a coal miner. He was a great outdoor sportsman and fishing was his favorite. He had the gift of storytelling. He lived a long, happy life loving his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lila Lee (Kinder) Brubaker; daughter, Lorri Morse; son, Eric Brubaker; siblings, William Brubaker, Orin Brubaker, Otis “Bud” Brubaker, Fred “Dykes” Brubaker, Ray Brubaker, Zelda Coley, Leona Kernik.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Brent “Skip” (Marci) Brubaker; granddaughters, Sarah Morse, Marisa Fellin; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 11am at the Armstrong Mills Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home, Bethesda Chapel, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio 43719 is honored to serve the family.
