Voter Registration Deadline Nears
As a reminder, the deadline to register to vote in the November 3 General Election is 9 pm, Monday, October 5, 2026. This year, voters in Ohio will select a governor, US senator, US representatives, and Ohio state legislators.
While military and overseas absentee voting is already underway, here in Ohio, early, in-person voting and absentee, voting by mail, begins the following day on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.
The first week of September, Ohio began sending out absentee ballot request forms to registered voters. You can also request an absentee ballot, either online, by mail or in-person from your Board of Elections.
Ohio’s Absentee Ballots will begin being mailed out on October 6.
