Missing Barnesville Teen Found Safe
“On Thursday, Sept. 24, our department started an investigation on a missing juvenile female. The female was found on September 29 and is currently safe,” Barnesville Police Chief Matthew Tippie said in a prepared statement released Wednesday afternoon.
The Barnesville Police Department thanked the assigned officer who worked to locate the missing female safely and extends additional thanks to the following departments for assisting:
- St. Clairsville Police Department
- Ohio State Highway Patrol Post 7
- Belmont County Sheriff’s Office
- Belmont County Prosecutor’s Office
- Belmont County Western Division Court
- Harrison County Sheriff’s Office
- Ohio Attorney General’s Missing Persons Unit
- FBI and U.S. Marshals
- Louisville (Kentucky) Metro Police Department’s Patrol Unit
