Robert Dale Orr

Robert Dale Orr, 75, of Bethesda, Ohio passed away at Barnesville Hospital on October 1, 2026. He was born on November 25, 1950, a son of the late Ralph Dale and Susanna (Jacobs) Orr.

Bob retired as a coal miner. He loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He liked watching old western shows on television. Bob was a member of the Sons of the Legion, St. Clairsville. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lana Orr; siblings, John Orr, Marilyn McGlothlin, Joyce Perkins, and Danny Orr.

Surviving are his sons, Timothy Orr and Shaun Orr; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Dave (Nancy) Orr, Ken (Cindy) Orr, Patti (Jeff) Ronevich.

The visitation will be on Monday, October 5, 2026 from 4pm to 7pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, Bethesda Chapel, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio 43719. The funeral service will be Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Union Cemetery in St. Clairsville.
