Barnesville’s Kennedy Little Finishes ‘Stellar Season’
During the Division II District Girls’ Golf Tournament, Barnesville Senior Kennedy Little shot a 79, placing her fifth out of 48 other golfers. The tournament took place on September 30 at the Cambridge Country Club. Little missed qualifying for the state tournament by four strokes.
Ridgewood won the event with a score of 337, which was 25 strokes better than second-place Fort Frye. The Generals had the top two individuals, scoring 63 and 68. The individual qualifier for the state tournament was Garaway’s Kylie Miller who finished third with a 75.
Head Golf Coach Jerry Robinson said that Kennedy had a “stellar season” and that he has watched Kennedy develop as a golfer over the years. “It has been an honor to be Kennedy’s coach,” added Robinson.
