In this week’s Twice-Told Tales Redux we read that Jean Davies profiled the Hendrysburg High School that flourished briefly in the 1920s. It was located in the school building that remains in the village

This building was built about that time replacing the former two-story structure dating to the mid-1800s and shown below.

Did you know the the current school building was originally upgrade to the south from its present location? True. The building was moved when the U.S. Route 40 bypass (present day Route 800) was constructed.
