Wednesday morning, employees of Shelly and Sands were busy on South Broadway Street between W. South Street and Hunts Avenue paving the 1,000-foot plus section of pavement that was removed over the past two months for the installation of new water and storm sewer lines.
The paving project was undertaken as an emergency to get the paving down before the contractor idles the asphalt plants for the upcoming winter months.
