Union Local Rotary Hoodie Project Underway
MORRISTOWN – The Union Local Rotary Club is collecting new or gently used hoodies, sweatpants, and joggers during the month of November for Union Local High School and Middle School students. This is the seventh year for the Hoodie Project.
Sweatpants in adult sizes M, L, XL, XXL and 3XL for boys and the same sizes for hoodies and joggers for girls are needed. Preferred colors are black, navy blue, or red.
Drop-off locations are:
- Bethesda Municipal Building, 103 S. Main St., Bethesda, OH
- Dollar General Store, Main Street, Flushing, OH
“This is a wonderful way to reach out to our area students to help make their Christmas a merry one,” the club release notes. “Know you are making a positive contribution where needed.”
The last day to drop off items is Monday, Nov. 30.
Last year, the club was able to donate over 100 items to the school. Due to the economy, club funds for the project are lower than usual, and unless donations are made, the club will not be able to provide as many items for the students.
Monetary donations are also welcome to purchase new items. Checks payable to the Union Local Rotary Club, may be mailed to PO Box 126, Bethesda, OH 43719.
Questions regarding the project may be directed by phone to 740 449-2280.
