Vivian Elizabeth (Kirk) Mayberry
Vivian E. (Kirk) Mayberry, 82, of Barnesville, Ohio died Thursday, October 30, 2025 at The Enclave in Barnesville, Ohio. She was born March 22, 1943 in Marion, Ohio to the late Carl J. and Anna (Geyer) Kirk.
She was a 1962 graduate of Barnesville High School, homemaker, former employee for Elby’s Big Boy restaurant, and a caregiver at the Barnesville Healthcare Center. Vivian loved listening and dancing to country music and collecting Elvis Presley memorabilia. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a Methodist by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a her daughter Deana Mayberry Brownfield, former husband Jerry Mayberry, brothers – William C. Kirk, Sr., Wilbur C. Kirk.
She is survived by son – Gerald Mayberry (Mark Taneski) of Mt. Juliet, TN; daughter – Vickie Mayberry, 4 grandchildren – Rachel (Cory) Miklas, JT Mayberry, Damon Mayberry, and Elijah Mayberry; 2 great-grandchildren – Maya McLaughlin, and Lane Miklas; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in law; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025 from 4-7pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 11:00am with Pastor Rodney West officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery in Hendrysburg, Ohio.
