Nancy A Wamsley

Nancy A. Wamsley, 72, of Byesville, passed away Friday, November 21, 2025, at her home.

She was born February 1, 1953, in Marietta, daughter of the late Perry Ivan Mike Linger and Viola Ruth (Augenstein) Linger.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Wamsley Sr.; and a son, Danny Wamsley Jr.

She is survived by two sons, David (Sabrina) Wamsley of Cambridge and Michael (Cassandra) Wamsley of Cambridge; two daughters, April (Danny) Gatrell of Cambridge and Danielle Wamsley of Byesville; four brothers, David (Clara) Linger of Newark, Mike Leroy (Lynn) Linger of Beverly, Herbert Linger of Dexter City, and Ronnie (Linda) Linger of Dexter City; three sisters, Ruth (Charlie) Dovenbarger of Belle Valley, Janice (Martin) White of Barnesville, and Mary (Rob) Conrad of Dresden; sixteen grandchildren; and twenty eight great-grandchildren.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her great- grandchildren and completing painting by numbers.

Visitation will be held at Thorn- Black Funeral Home in Cambridge on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 10AM until the time of the service at 12PM. Burial will be at Williamson Cemetery.
