David Andrew Cunningham

David Cunningham, 74, of Piedmont, Ohio passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025 at Ohio Health Southeastern Regional Medical Center, in Cambridge Ohio. He was born on February 18, 1951 in Guernsey County, to the late Thomas A. and Marjorie M. (Kelly) Cunningham.

Dave was a 1969 graduate of Madison High School. He was a coal miner most of his life, he loved his garden and farm animals. Dave was a loving, devoted husband, father, and Pap, that was his greatest blessing in life. In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his brothers, William Cunningham, Daniel Cunningham, and Ronald Cunningham; sisters, Deborah Cunningham and Rose Ann Cunningham.

Dave is survived by his wife, Clara “Sparkle” Cunningham; two children, Denise (Ed) Cacioppo and Yvonne (Todd) Millfelt; grandchildren, Izabelle, Rafferty (Abby) , Macallan, Ian, (Meghan) Jeramiah, Nate, Ty, and Grace; great-grandchildren, Dawson and Maverick, and a great-granddaughter on the way; brothers, James (Sue) Cunningham, Tom (Angie) Cunningham, Luke (Crystal) Cunningham, and Tim Cunningham; sisters, Nellie (Mike) Blessing, Nancy (Fred) Butcher, Norma Cunningham, and Natalie Fowler; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 from 11:00am until the time of the service at 1:00pm with Ev. Kim McFarland officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
