Belmont SWCD Tree Sale Underway
ST. CLAIRSVILLE – The Belmont Soil and Water Conservation District’s annual Tree Sale is currently underway.
The district notes fruit trees are available in 2026 including peach and apple. Raspberry plants are also on the list.
Larger Tree species available are Tulip Poplar, Swamp White Oak, Scarlet Oak, Mockernut Hickory, Persimmon, White Oak, Sycamore, Canaan Fir, Shagbark Hickory, Black Oak, American Chestnut and Black Walnut.
Smaller trees include Red Chokeberry, Red Twig Dogwood, Red Currant, Nannyberry, Prairie Crabapple, Pussy Willow, Allegheny Serviceberry and Highbush Blueberry.
Most saplings cost $10. Orders are now being taken online at https://www.belmontswcd.org/treesale
Order forms will also be included in the agency’s newsletter or picked up at the office 45422 Roscoe Road (Belmont County Fairgrounds), St. Clairsville.
Trees will be available for pickup on April 9-10 at the agency office.
