Carryout ‘Out’ for Extended Period
The Pit Stop Drive Thru and Carryout at 777 East Main Street remains closed following a Feb. 11 accident when a vehicle was mistakenly driven into the structure.
The accident took out the load bearing concrete block pier that once held up the structure over two auto repair bays long ago blocked in for the retail business.
Wednesday, according to Trista Fitch, who was operating the register at Bob’s Carryout on E. South Street, the business will remain closed for an extended period of time, perhaps as long as two months until repairs are complete.
Existing stock in the area unaffected by the auto strike is being moved to Bob’s while beer and soda pop in the damaged area will remain until the building structure is stabilized. Some employees from The Pit Stop are currently working at Bob’s.
