Joseph John Poludniak
Joseph John Poludniak, 65, of Bellaire, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at WVU Medicine – Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia. He was born on January 7, 1961, in Wheeling, West Virginia to the late John Joseph and Helen Mary (Drop) Poludniak.
Joe was a proud graduate of Wheeling Park High School and a United States Navy veteran who served aboard the USS Wisconsin during the Gulf War. A true patriot, Joe had a deep love for his country and enjoyed collecting eagles as a symbol of the freedom he so proudly defended.He was a devoted and hardworking employee at Walmart in Triadelphia, where he was known for his kindness and friendly spirit where he was lovingly referred to as “Joe Snow”. Joe was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.An avid Miami Dolphins fan, Joe rarely missed a game and cheered faithfully each season. He especially treasured watching his nephew play football for the Shamrocks, proudly becoming a Shamrock fan at heart.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Margaret Toland; and a very special friend, Leslie Allen.
Joe is survived by his siblings, Helen Schramm, Joann Danehart, Nancy Harris, and Barbara Ammerman; nieces & nephews, Jessica Abbott, Alvin Francis III, Joshua Francis, Marie Danehart, Ronnie Eppley, Rick Eppley, Paula Toland, and Cathy Breese; and several great nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A Mass will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026 at 2pm with Fr. Dan Heusel officiating at St. John Catholic Church, 415 37th St, Bellaire, OH 43906. A celebration of life will follow after Mass at the American Legion Post 52, 3600 Guernsey Street, Bellaire, Ohio 43906. He will be buried at the convenience of the family at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Wheeling. Care is entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
