MS Robotics Team Headed to World Championship Contest
DAYTON – Barnesville Middle School Robotics Team 99656A is heading to the VEX World Championship. The team qualified for the contest this week at the Vex Robotics Ohio State Championship Tournament at the National Museum of the US Air Force in Dayton.
Also participating in the state contest at Dayton was Team 99656B.
The two teams’ participation at Dayton was made possible by the generosity of area businesses and individuals who covered expenses including meals and apparel at Dayton: Marvin & Joy Feldner, The Flower Gardens, Doug & Elaine Schafer, Danah Welch, WVU Medicine, Fisher Family & Sport Chiropractic and Hissom’s Service Center.
The Vex World Competition will take place April 21-24 at the America’s Center Convention Complex in downtown St. Louis.
