Barnesville BOE Recognizes Winter Athletes
At the Barnesville Board of Education meeting on March 19, the Board recognized the winter athletes for their exceptional seasons and accomplishments. The four winter teams included cheerleading, swimming, bowling, and wrestling.
“We’ve had a very successful winter season. I don’t think it happens very often when we have four sports, not only OVAC champions, but we have a couple of district champions, state champions, and national champions,” stated Athletic Director Brad Hannahs.
Head Cheerleading Coach Abby McClelland, Head Swimming Coach Danielle Anderson, Head Bowling Coach Chad Hall, and Head Wrestling Coach Jayson Stephen shared their season highlights and announced their athletes to the Board as they received certificates of recognition.
