St. Clairsville, Steubenville Harding Win Barnesville Jr. High Invitational
The St. C Red Devil girls scored 136 points Saturday afternoon at Barnesville High School to take the top spot at the Barnesville Junior High Invitational sponsored by Flag Floors. Steubenville Harding came in second with 95, followed by host Barnesville with 58 points.
On the boys’ side, Steubenville Harding won the contest with 116 points. Cambridge came in second and Shadyside third. Barnesville was fourth with 62 points.
A total of 13 schools fielded boys and girls teams. They were host Barnesville, Bellaire, Bridgeport, Buckeye Trail, Caldwell, Cambridge, Martins Ferry, River, St. Clairsville, Shadyside, Shenandoah, Sherrard and Steubenville Harding.
In addition to these teams, East Richland Christian participated in the boys’ contest.
