Shamrocks Take Third and Fifth at Invitational
GNADENHUTTEN – Barnesville’s teams did well at the Indian Valley Bell Legacy Invitational Saturday.
The girls’ team came in third with 95 points behind host and winner Indian Valley with 111.5 points. Ridgeway came in second with 102 points.
Other teams participating ranking from 4th through 9th were John Glenn, St. Clairsville, Steubenville Central Catholic, Garaway, Buckeye Trail and Harrison Central.
St. Clairsville topped the boys’ competition collecting 108 points. Barnesville came in 5th tied with Garaway at 59 points.
Second through fourth place teams were Indian Valley, Harrison Central and Shenandoah.
The other five teams in ranking order were Steubenville Catholic Central, John Glenn, Ridgewood, Buckeye Trail and Fairless.
