Barnesville FFA Hosted Hoot ‘n’ Holler Community Fun Day
Despite the rain, the Barnesville FFA chapter held the annual Hoot ‘n’ Holler this past Saturday at the Barnesville Memorial Park. The festive day began with the Tractor Cruise, which started at the middle school and finished at the park right at noon.
The FFA Plant Sale kicked off and continues through this week. For more information about the hours and types of plants, see our previous post.
The raffle basket winners were:
- John Barker — Freshmen Wheelbarrow and Spring Garden Supplies
- Karley Moore — Sophomore Shamrock Themed Basket
- Kristen Young — Junior Eat Shop Support Local Basket
- Ronnie Duvall — Senior Lottery Basket
The fun day concluded with a square dance, with Deep Down Country providing the music. Overall, the day was a great day to celebrate Barnesville FFA and to give some hootin’ and hollerin’ to the Barnesville community for its support for the FFA.
