Alan G. Neiswonger

Alan G. Neiswonger, 65, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away In his home on Saturday, July 18, 2026 following a hard fought battle with cancer.

We are certain he was greeted by his loving wife, Tina Kaye Neiswonger with whom he married October 11, 1997, along with his parents, William Gerald Neiswonger and Patricia Blanche (Brownfield) Daniels; brother, Ronald Dean Neiswonger; and sister, Rhonda Jean Neiswonger.

The dash between January 18, 1961 to his last breath, Alan was a man that lived life to the fullest, loved fiercely and stood up for what he believed in. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially with a cracking fire and something cooking in the hot coals, he found his peace in taking the time to enjoy the serenity it had to offer. He was proud to have been an active member of Barnesville VFW Post #2792 Auxiliary Batesville Post # 578 Sons of the American Legion. Working many years for the village of Barnesville and Olney Friends School along with many side jobs throughout his life.

Left to cherish his memory are: his mother-in-law, Evelyn Beckett of Barnesville; children, Christopher (Rachel Gibbons) Neiswonger, Cassie (David) Armentrout, and Kayla Reynolds; grandchildren, James, Addison, Riley, Neina, Hunter, Adele, Eden, and Arlo; his faithful pup, Ruby; several nieces, nephews, and many close friends.

Honoring Alan’s wishes, cremation will take place with a Celebration of Life held by the family on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at 12:00pm at the Barnesville VFW Pavillion. His care has been entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
