Monday, July 20, 2026
11:55 am – male on station to report that there is a Ford parked on West Main Street and hasn’t been moved in months.
1:09 pm – female caller states that there is a guy who drove past her fiance’s house three times today. Dispatcher advised her to come to the station and file a complaint.
1:31 pm – female caller states that a person is driving by her house and harassing her. She states that the driver has no license and carries a gun.

12:45 pm – male caller states that his fiance’s father sent a package to his residence and he is unsure of what to do with it. He would like to speak to an officer.
4:23 pm – person on Mackey Drive is taking custody of a baby.
4:33 pm – caller advised her dog is missing.
4:01 pm – 911 caller in regards to a two-vehicle accident on East Main Street. Another caller reports the two males involved are getting loud with each other.
6:46 pm – caller from Euclid Avenue stating that a female was in his car. Female is now beating on a house at the corner of High Street. Officer made contact with the female at the corner of North Lincoln Avenue and Euclid Avenue.
7:09 pm – officer at the Memorial Park in regards to a bike lock needing cut off.
9:11 pm – officer speaking to a person in regards to questions about parking.
9:40 pm – traffic stop on Morgantown Avenue. Warning issued for visual obstruction of plate.
10:55 pm – caller reporting the pump station alarm going off on Locust Drive.
Wednesday, July 22, 2026
7:45 am – tree down in the alley near South Lincoln Avenue. Officer reported that a phone line is down.
7:56 am – assisting the EMS squad on Leggett Avenue.
9:22 am – vehicle lockout on South Chestnut Street.
11:44 am – traffic stop on Bailey Road.
12:09 pm – officer on Gobblers Knob with the fire department regarding a golf cart fully engulfed in flames .
4:06 pm – traffic stop on Railroad Street.
8:17 pm – traffic stop on Railroad Street. Warning issued for no brake lights.
8:35 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street near the library.
8:53 pm – male is driving a bike and drinking an alcoholic beverage on South Chestnut Street. Officer attempted to issue a citation, but the man took off on the bike driving to his house. The officer went to his residence on South Chestnut Street to give him a copy of the citation, but he refused to accept it. The man kept screaming profanities.
9:52 pm – officer on North Lincoln Avenue in pursuit of juveniles on E-Bikes. Dispatcher spotted the juveniles on multiple cameras and reported the sightings to the officer.
10:21 pm – caller reported hearing a female in the area of South Garnder Street and West South Street saying “get off me” and “let me go”. Officer reported that he didn’t discover where the sound was coming from.
10:26 pm – caller from Grey Avenue wants to talk with an officer about juveniles on E-Bikes who were in her yard earlier.
10:40 pm – caller reports the 4-way flashers on a mail truck at the post office have been on for over an hour.
11:49 pm – male walking by the roadway on Leatherwood Road. Officer reported that the male is homeless. Dispatcher called the Salvation Army in Bellaire and the Salvation Army in Wheeling but both reported they are currently full. Officer transported the male to the Pilot Station in Morristown.
Thursday, July 23, 2026
5:43 am – traffic stop on East Main Street. Citation issued for speed.
10:23 am – traffic stop on West Church Street near the First Christian Church parking lot.
10:34 am – caller reported that she found a dog on Wright Road that looks ill or injured. She attempted to call the animal shelter and left a message for a call back.
3:15 pm – traffic stop on State Route 800 South. Consent to search granted. Search was negative.
3:22 pm – caller reporting an older gentleman left the store with groceries under his shirt. Caller attempted to get the man to stop but the male kept walking away.
5:12 pm – vehicle is blocking the roadway on Dorsey Avenue. It is a company mowing grass.
6:37 pm – warrant service. Negative contact was reported.
7:58 pm – follow up investigating a complaint on North Broadway Street.
11:59 pm – traffic stop on North Street.
Friday, July 24, 2026
5:44 am – traffic stop on South Chestnut Street. Citation issued for expired license.
6:49 am – traffic stop on East Main Street. Consent to search granted. Nothing was found in the search.
8:02 am – traffic stop on State Route 800 North.
8:25 am – caller from North Chestnut Street reports a vehicle has been driving slowly past her house on multiple occasions this morning. It seems the man was recording. She would like to talk to an officer.
10:59 am – apartment manager called asking for an officer to assist in serving an eviction order. Dispatcher advised the police can’t do that without a court order.
11:09 am – caller from Bond Avenue reports someone tampering with a riding mower.
2:52 pm – female caller reporting a vehicle accident near McMillan Road.
3:53 pm – traffic stop on North Chestnut Street.
8:59 pm – traffic stop on South Arch Street.
9:46 pm – traffic stop on North Broadway Street near the Elementary School.
10:28 pm – report of a male walking along the roadway on Leatherwood Road. Male appears to be intoxicated and stumbling around and walking on the white lane. A person is giving the man a ride to Baileys Mills.
Saturday, July 25, 2026
8:04 am – caller would like to talk to an officer regarding a gun that was confiscated.
9:38 am – traffic stop on State Route 147 East.
12:38 pm – caller reporting someone backed into her car on South Gardner Street.
3:07 pm – call from 911 regarding an elderly male that wants to talk to the mayor.
3:47 pm – officer out with a disabled vehicle on North Chestnut Street.
8:44 pm – caller reporting a car parked the wrong way on East Church Street.
9:28 pm – caller states her smoke alarm won’t stop going off. Dispatcher advised central.
10:13 pm – medical emergency on East Walnut Street. Cardiac arrest.
Sunday, July 26, 2026
12:28 pm – male on station asking to speak with an officer regarding a child custody case.
4:45 pm – caller requesting a welfare check on his father. He stated that he hasn’t heard from him in over a month.
6:33 pm – disabled vehicle with a flat tire at the water treatment plant.
7:14 pm – caller from Henderson Street reporting a gas emergency. The homeowner has left the residence.
8:04 pm – male caller reporting domestic troubles on North Broadway Street. He believes his daughter and her husband are involved. Officer reported nothing physical happened.
