9:22 am – warrant service attempt. Officer reported negative contact with the person.

9:59 am – female on station filing a report of fraud.

11:20 am -female on station regarding her cat.

11:38 am – officer on Henderson Street for a follow up investigation.

8:34 pm – male caller from Bond Avenue regarding an issue with an individual he has a protection order against. Dispatcher advised this is a civil matter.

8:56 pm – manager from Morgantown Avenue residential facility requested a welfare check on a resident that has not had contact with his family today. EMS squad is enroute.

10:32 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street.

10:40 pm – traffic stop on South Lincoln Avenue. Warning issued for no headlights.

4:53 am – traffic stop on East Main Street near Riesbeck’s. Warning issued for traffic control device.

6:18 am – Someone is lost on Roosevelt Road. Hissom’s Towing enroute.

11:11 am – female on station reporting illegal dumping in her dumpster. She has a picture of the individual.

11:13 am – follow up investigation on West South Street.

12:08 pm – female caller from West South Street asking why the officers were at her house. Dispatcher advised they are trying to make contact with a person.

2:43 pm – traffic stop on Morgantown Avenue.

4:27 pm – female caller from Quaker City requesting a welfare check on her husband. She is at work and states that he might be having a mental health issue. Dispatcher contacted the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Department.

6:08 pm – male caller from East Main Street reporting a construction sign that fell into the roadway.

8:03 pm – traffic stop on Railroad Street.

8:21 pm – traffic stop on Law Street.

 8:36 pm – alarm drop at the Barnesville Hospital.

10:05 pm – traffic stop on State Route 800 North.

Wednesday, July 29, 2026

3:10 am – domestic trouble on Clifton Street. Male assaulted a female. Male left the residence going to his mother’s homw on South Chestnut Street.

12:03 pm – officer on East Main Street with a cyclist and on Railroad Street on the walking trail.

12:18 pm – traffic stop on Railroad Street.

2:19 pm – caller reports his children keep stealing things from stores. They live in Guernsey County. Dispatcher directed him to call the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Department.

6:08 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street. Citation issued for speed.

Thursday, July 30, 2026

11:42 am – traffic stop on Railroad Street.

9:34 pm – person called back identifying who is hacking his phone. He is afraid to email us a statement.

9:59 pm – traffic stop on West Main Street. Warning issued for turn signal.

Friday, July 31. 2026

12:18 am – traffic stop on Morgantown Avenue.

8:58 am – traffic stop on East Main Street.

9:40 am – traffic stop on North Chestnut Street.

2:59 pm – verbal altercation on East Main Street.

3:02 pm – follow up investigation on East Main Street. Officer spoke to the male’s sister-in-law.

4:43 pm – female caller requesting to speak to an officer regarding her son.

6:35 pm – male on station to file a noise complaint. The person is complaining about noise on High Street. Male states dogs barking and yelling constantly occurs.

7:11 pm – female with minor child on station to discuss an incident that occurred last week with E-Bikes.

9:07 pm – officer on North Broadway attempting to contact a person.

9:17 pm – female caller reports there is a vehicle heading north driving too fast on Bond Avenue.

10:27 pm – officer was waved down on Morgantown Avenue to help search for a white dog. Dog was not found.

10:31 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street. Consent to search granted. Officer reported that nothing was found in the search. Warning issued for turn signals.

Saturday, August 1, 2026

1:31 am – traffic stop on East Main Street. Consent to search granted.

 5:11 am – traffic stop on Somerton Highway for sand leaking from a truck box. Sand box found to be empty. The sand must be leaking from the shoot.

5:41 am – traffic stop on East Main Street.

6:14 am – traffic stop on East Main Street. Warning issued for speed.

9:33 am – vehicle lockout on Mt. Olivett Road.

10:05 am – traffic stop on North Chestnut Street.

11:06 am – Shamrock Drive report of possible shots fired.

11:35 am – officer radioed a second officer regarding a person is heading toward BellStores.

12:09 pm – female caller reports she has locked herself in a room due to a male throwing things, being disorderly. Case worker will pick up the male.

3:19 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street.

3:50 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street.

5:38 pm – traffic stop on North Chestnut Street near library annex.

6:30 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street near Dollar General.

7:26 pm – traffic stop on South Chestnut Street near Do It Best Hardware. Consent to search granted. Warning issued for expired tag.

8:25 pm – traffic stop on North Chestnut Street.

8:49 pm – traffic stop on Cherry Street. Warning issued for turn signal.

8:55 pm – caller reports fireworks are being set off on North Lincoln Avenue. Officer investigated the report.

9:03 pm – officer on Mulberry Street investigating individuals setting off fireworks. Officer told the individuals to “knock it off”.

9:08 pm – traffic stop on Bond Avenue near Certified. Warning issued for headlight out.

10:10 pm – caller requested to talk to an officer regarding a person trying to take his money, his car and leave with his son. Officer went to residence and found no one there.

10:29 pm – manager from a West Main Street business requested an officer for an individual that won’t leave the building. Officer reported that the male is not cooperating.

Sunday, August 2, 2026

10:57 am – officer assisting the EMS/Fire Department with a vehicle on fire near Tacoma.

4:47 pm – caller from Leatherwood Road stated her vehicle was broken into and vandalized. Items are missing.

6:43 pm – caller asking who to contact in regards to a complaint on dogs. Dispatcher directed her to contact the Dog Warden at the animal shelter.

10:08 pm – caller reports his German Shepherd Dog escaped from his car and ran off on North Chestnut Street.
