Two Hospital Employees Mark Half Century and More Anniversaries
BARNESVILLE –Two veteran employees recently marked a half century or more of continuous service to Barnesville Hospital.
In July, Barb McMahon RN, reached 55 years of “dedicated service”, according to a hospital release. McMahon’s first day at the West Main Street hospital was July 1, 1971. Hired as a Registered Nurse, the hospital praised her career “serving patients in several departments throughout the hospital over the years. Her compassion, commitment, and dedication have made a lasting impact on our patients, colleagues, and community”.
Rosemary “Rosie” Winland, reached 50 years of service to Barnesville Hospital earlier this month.

“Throughout her remarkable career, she has served patients and families in a variety of nursing departments, including Med/Surg, Emergency, Outpatient Surgery, and the CCU,” a hospital release noted.
Winland’s photo will be added to the half-century service wall located in the hospital first floor corridor.
