Monday, August 3, 2026
1:10 am – officer on Walton Avenue with juveniles. The Officer was unable to make contact with their parents.
2:47 am – investigating a complaint at the Barnesville Hospital.
4:00 am – officer checking on a person in a vehicle on Bond Avenue. Officer reported that the male is okay.
3:48 pm – female caller reporting that she sometimes hears yelling coming from East Church Street. She asked to see if the man yelling has outstanding warrants.
3:54 pm – caller requesting a welfare check on a person who has medical issues and lives on West Main Street.
9:07 pm – caller from Wiley Avenue reports his house and the ground beneath is vibrating. He asked if there is drilling going on under his house.
Tuesday, August 4, 2026
12:19 am – traffic stop on East Main Street. Officer told the person to take the E-Bike home and to stay off the street.
12:44 pm – male caller from McGee Lane reports his neighbor is blowing grass and rocks against his house. He said he has talked to the neighbor about this situation before.
2:41 pm – male caller asked if anyone has called about a gray poodle. Dispatcher advised that they have not received any calls about dogs today.
3:52 pm – caller advising that there are two syringes near the Senior Citizens building.
4:13 pm – caller asking if anyone turned in her bank card. Dispatcher responded that no cards have been turned in.
4:31 pm – person on station wanting her bag and phone.

5:48 am – alarm drop on North Chestnut Street.
8:58 am – call from the Belmont County Children Services asking for a location of a person.
12:01 pm – traffic stop on State Route 147 East.
12:35 pm – traffic stop on North Chestnut Street.
12:57 pm – male caller from West Leatherwood Pike reporting a box truck is blocking the right side of the road at the bottom of Hilles Avenue.
2:53 pm – traffic stop on North Lincoln Avenue.
4:36 pm – traffic stop on West Church Street near the elementary school.
8:25 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street.
9:17 pm – officer on Pine Lane serving citation to a male.
10:27 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street.
10:31 pm – traffic stop on North Chestnut Street.
11:02 pm – caller from Hilles Avenue reports a female is trying to leave the residence peacefully. Other residents are talking badly about her in front of her children.
Thursday, August 6, 2026
12:52 am – traffic stop on East Main Street.
1:49 am – traffic stop on West Main Street. Warning issued for brake light.
4:46 am – traffic stop on Pine Lane. Warning issued for headlight.
5:09 am – traffic stop on East Main Street. Warning issued for speed.
5:14 am – officer on Morgantown Avenue in regards to construction going on since 4:30 am. Officer reported that the construction crew will move the light and keep the noise down.
1:13 pm – officer out with two juveniles and their parents in regards to an E-Bike issue.
3:42 pm – traffic stop on Gobblers Knob.
5:44 pm – officer on East Church Street investigating a follow up complaint about a stolen weed eater.
5:57 pm – caller wants to talk to an officer regarding threats made towards her son. The threatening party said they were going to get on their E-Bikes and beat up her son.
6:39 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street.
6:50 pm – group of five or more kids on South Broadway Street throwing bricks in the roadway and rocks at cars that are passing by. Officer spoke with the seven-year-old child and his father. Officer reported that the roadway is all cleaned up. Officer told the father if we get any calls for damages done to vehicles; we will contact him.
9:55 pm – traffic stop on Morgantown Avenue. Warning issued for no headlights.
Friday, August 7, 2026
12:09 am – EMS squad member reporting they saw a red Subaru speeding through an intersection on East Main Street. There was a male and female yelling for help. Officer talked to both parties who said it was all a prank. Officer told them to knock it off.
7:43 am – traffic stop on Railroad Street. Warning issued for speed.
8:10 am – assisting the EMS squad on Mackey Drive.
9:53 am – female on station in regards to being a victim of identity fraud.
10:53 am – truck on Kennard Avenue pulled down a Comcast cable lines.
11:55 am – male called and requested an officer to come to their Kennard Avenue residence to speak to his wife about the Comcast cable lines. Officer spoke to the Comcast truck driver.
12:43 pm – traffic stop on State Route 147 near Tacoma.
2:22 pm – female caller from West Highland Avenue reporting her neighbor is mowing onto her property. She asked him to not do that and he proceeded to do donuts in her lawn.
2:49 pm – hit skip accident on West Main Street.
3:58 pm – caller states an officer was at her place regarding grass clippings from her property going onto the neighboring property. She was wanting to talk to the officer again.
3:58 pm – person on station regarding a firearm in evidence.
4:28 pm – traffic stop on Railroad Street.
7:31 pm – caller from Warren Avenue reporting a person has trespassed onto her property. Individual cursed her out and yelled at her. She wants an officer to come to her residence right away.
7:47 pm – The State Highway Patrol called reporting a reckless white Nissan being driven recklessly into Barnesville.
7:47 pm – caller states those kids are following her kid again on E-Bikes and threating physical harm to him. The kids are at the car wash waiting for her son to come around.
7:51 pm – followup investigation in regard to a dispute.
7:59 pm – followup investigation on Warren Avenue.
8:30 pm – male on station requesting a person to be removed from his property. He stated that the address is in Hall Boston Road. Dispatcher told him that the residence is outside of the corporation limit and he needs to call the Belmont County Sheriff’s Department.
9:56 pm – caller from Johnson Ridge Road in Somerset Township reporting his girlfriend is receiving harassing texts. Dispatcher advised him to call the Belmont County Sheriff’s Department. He stated that he has, but no one has been sent to him.
10:57 pm – follow up on station regarding an E-Bike situation on Park Street.
11:04 pm – female on station reporting threats made toward her son. She indicates things have not stopped.
Saturday, August 8, 2026
12:25 am – caller from Bond Avenue in regard to someone walked past her window and would like an officer to check it out. Officer reported that he had negative contact with anyone.
9:34 am – traffic stop on South Chestnut Street.
10:34 am – male caller reporting that his fishing pole has been taken from the back of his pickup truck last night.
1:55 pm – female caller stating that she will be coming back home on August 9 and will be parking her car in her driveway. The neighbors will not be able to move their cars. She also stated that she is upset about an incident that had occurred yesterday on Highland Avenue involving neighbors and a relative of hers arguing about a lawn mowing incident.
2:28 pm – male caller states that he is concerned about a male that is acting paranoid.
6:04 pm – caller from Fairmont Avenue reports hearing a gunshot sounds in the area. Officer reported individuals were shooting at groundhogs at Doudna’s Orchard.
6:21 pm – officer on South Broadway Street looking for an individual. Officer reported negative contact with the person.
6:29 pm – caller from South Broadway Street reporting a kid riding a minibike very fast . Officer reported negative contact with the kid.
10:06 pm – vehicle lockout on Fairmont Avenue.
Sunday, August 9, 2026
7:38 am – traffic stop at the airport.
9:45 am – male on station complaining about very high grass at a residence on South Chestnut Street. He reports snakes are coming out from this property.
12:42 pm – female caller reports there is a young man driving a car too fast on Warren Avenue.
3:53 pm – caller states she went to the vape store (123 N. Chestnut) and no one was visible to wait on her. She reports loud music was heard. She yelled but nobody came to wait on her. She went into the office area and saw someone’s feet. Officer reports everything was good.
6:15 pm – traffic stop on Bond Avenue.
