Melvin Dwayne Grayam “Pickle”

Melvin Dwayne Grayam “Pickle” passed away on August 25, 2026. He was 61 years young. He was born June 17, 1965 in New Martinsville, WV, a son of the late Creed Allen Sr. and Corrine Yvonne Wisor Grayam.


He worked as a sanitation worker, yarn spooler, maintenance, and many years of newspaper delivery.
He was a Nascar fan and has an extensive Nascar collection. He enjoyed motorcycles, remote cars, antiques, and odd and unique finds. He was a master at socializing with friends and family.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Katrina Daugherty, and two brothers, Creed Jr. and Kyle Grayam.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Nancy Griffon; two sons, Allen and Gary Grayam of Clarington, OH; one daughter, Ciara Barnes of Jerusalem, OH; two claimed daughters, Jasmine Headley of Parkersburg, WV, and Destini Barnes of Marietta, OH; three grandchildren, Jonathan “George” Ruckman, Mikalyn “Lucy” Barnes, and Blayde “Saul” Brown; and one sister, Martha “Willie” Grayam of Clarington, OH.

Family will receive friends on Monday August 31st from 2-4p.m. and 6-8p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 125 Clarinda Drive, Clarington, OH, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday September 1st at 12p.m.
Burial will follow at Clarington Cemetery.
