ST CLAIRSVILLE – Bringing The Wall That Heals to Belmont County is truly a community effort. For months, this dedicated committee has been working behind the scenes: planning ceremonies, recruiting volunteers, coordinating logistics, building community partnerships, securing sponsorships, spreading the word, and preparing to welcome thousands of visitors to our community.
As we get closer to the arrival of The Wall That Heals, we want to introduce and thank the people who have given their time, talents, connections, and hearts to make this extraordinary experience possible.

And this committee is only part of the story. Behind them are sponsors, community organizations, veterans, volunteers, local businesses, public safety agencies and countless individuals who have stepped forward to help us prepare for something very special.
On September 29, The Wall That Heals will arrive in the Ohio Valley. From October 1–4, it will stand at the Belmont County Fairgrounds, open 24 hours a day and free to everyone.
Together, we are preparing to welcome it.
Together, we will remember the more than 58,000 names it carries, including 26 service members from Belmont County.
And together, we will say the words that so many Vietnam veterans waited far too long to hear: Welcome Home.
