The Barnesville B & O Depot complex looked like this in 1921, four years after the current station was constructed. The older combo station is shown to the right. It stood until 1962. Across Mulberry Street was the fruit/vegetable warehouse, later a warehouse and retail store for Lotus Glass. The smokestacks for United Dairy and Watt Car are visible in the distance.
Note the brick sidewalk extended towards the tunnel along the entire passenger loading area.
