Barnesville Council Meeting – March 10
The upcoming Council Meeting will take place on Monday, March 10, 2025 at 7:00 PM in Council Chambers, 132 N Arch St. The public is welcome to attend. Meeting Agenda for the upcoming meeting is found here.

JVS March Board Meeting

The Belmont-Harrison Vocational School District Board of Education will conduct its regular March Board meeting on Monday, March 17th at 6:00. The meeting will be held at the Belmont Career Center, 68090 Hammond Road, St. Clairsville OH 43950. The public may also view the meeting online by accessing a link on the Belmont-Harrison Vocational School District website or Facebook page.
Public Hearing for 2025-2026 School Calendar

A Public Hearing Regarding the proposed 2025-2026 Barnesville Schools Calendar will take place at the next meeting on March 20. The proposed calendar will be available for review on the school district’s Website.

Cemetery Clean Up
Residents are asked to remove grave decorations from all village operated cemeteries. These include Crestview, Northern, and Southern cemeteries. The Village of Barnesville requests that all decorations are removed by March 15th as part of the annual spring cleanup. Decorations not removed by this date will be disposed of by staff.
Barnesville Public Water Supply Consumer Confidence Report Released
The 2024 edition of the Consumer Confidence Report for the Village of Barnesville Public Water System has been published.
This brochure is printed to supply information and data on the village’s water system and quality of water served to consumers.
Copies of the report are available online or by checking the box on the April water bill and returning it to the water department office requesting that a paper copy be mailed to your billing address. The report is also available at the Barnesville Water Department Office located at 126 East Church Street or by calling (740) 425-3672.
Community/JB Green Team Clean Up Schedule Set
The annual clean up by township trustees and JB Green Team for residents of various townships will take place this spring and fall. On the collection dates, items will be accepted from residents of affected townships only. Collection dates are:
- Goshen Township – Saturday, April 5, township garage, 61124 Hunter-Bethesda Road, 9:00-1:00
- Somerset, Wayne, Washington townships – Saturday, April 12, Wayne Township garage, 55024 New Castle Road, 9:00-1:00
- Warren Township – Saturday, May 3, Barnesville Depot, East Church/Mulberry streets, 9:00-1:00
- Flushing Township – Saturday, May 17, Holloway Village garage, 9:00-1:00
- Smith Township – Saturday, September 13, Centerville Community Center, 9:00-1:00
- Union Township – Saturday, September 20, township garage, Lafferty, 9:00-1:00
