Bellaire Caboose Dedication
The Great Stone Viaduct Historical Society will mark the completion of a major goal of the group Saturday morning when the group dedicates a B & O Caboose at the park on 31st Street in the Pultney Township comnmuity.
The dedication of the B&O C-3825 Caboose will take place at 11 a.m.
Restoration of the structure that cost a nominal $1 was over $60,000.
The placement of the C-3825 makes three cabooses on display in Belmont County. The first one placed was in 1996 at the Barnesville B & O Depot. Later, the Holloway Old Timers Club added one to their park located on the grounds of the former Holloway School on SR 331.
