After months of planning, renovating and working through the various permitting steps, the dream business of Charley Lucas has become a reality. The Cowboy Bowl, located at 112 E. Church Street next door to the Barnesville Post Office, offers both food and decor
Two weeks ago, during the bustle of the Barnesville Pumpkin Festival, the owners launched the business with a soft opening.
Wednesday morning this week, Lucas was joined by her husband and co-owner, D.J. Lucas, as well as his father and members of the Barnesville Area Chamber of Commerce, to officially cut the ribbon and open the business.
Cowboy Bowl customers may dine and, if interested, purchase décor found throughout the building… and cowboy hats, too!
The business is open from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Sunday, with Monday off.
