2026 ‘Boo in Barnesville’ Halloween Soccer Tournament
BARNESVILLE – The Barnesville Soccer Association welcomed 17 teams from Barnesville and surrounding communities to this year’s ‘Boo in Barnesville” soccer tournament held on the four fields at the Barnesville Schools complex
“What an incredible day of soccer, competition, Halloween fun, and community spirit at the 2026 Boo in Barnesville Halloween Soccer Tournament,” said Kyle Burkhart of the Barnesville Soccer Association. “From the first whistle to the final championship game, the fields were filled with excitement, determination, teamwork, and some amazing soccer talent.”
“The level of talent, sportsmanship, and effort displayed throughout the day was outstanding,” Burkhart said.” Every player who stepped onto the field gave us something to cheer and we couldn’t be prouder of all the athletes who participated”.
Burkhart congratulated the three championship teams who “battled through some tough competition and earned their titles.” He also recognized all of the teams that participated to make the event a success.
Also recognized were the following food truck vendors who participated in the event – Barn Brew Coffee Company, Wood Fire Pizza Company and Kirke’s Ice Cream.
The Barnesville Soccer Association, established two years ago, is possible through the efforts of board members, coaches, referees, scorekeepers, bracket runners, volunteers, participating teams, parents and families.
In closing, Burkhart said, “Barnesville soccer continues to grow, and events like this show exactly why we are working so hard to expand opportunities for our young athletes. These kids deserve the chance to continue developing their skills, competing at higher levels, and representing Barnesville.”
