Darlene Regina Williams

Darlene Regina Williams, 55, of Bethesda, Ohio, passed away on October 17, 2026, at her home.

She was born on January 31, 1971, in Bellaire, Ohio, a daughter of the late Carl Dowdle and Donna Logan Criss.

Darlene was employed as a banquet server at Oglebay Park Resort. Throughout her career, she also worked as a State Tested Nurse Aide and managed fast-food restaurants. She enjoyed writing, taking long walks, playing bingo, gambling and had a love for music. She had a natural talent for interior decorating and was exceptionally crafty.

In addition to her parents, Darlene was preceded in death by her stepfather, Tim Jordan; her brother, John Dowdle; and her aunts, Kathy Stout and Susan Stephens.

She is survived by her lifelong companion, Brian Kovas; her three children, Stephan Stewart, Kristin Williams, and Travis Williams; seven grandchildren, Stephan Stewart II, David Stewart, Ayvry Williams, Flint Williams, Elaya Williams, River Wood, and Lincoln Wood; three sisters, Carla Dowdle, Shannon Norris, and Betty Markovich; and many nieces and nephews.

Honoring Darlene’s wishes, no services will be held. Arrangements were entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio.
