The Busy Bee Ladies of the Batesville community have been busy this winter.  A total of

40 blankets were made for distribution to the Ronald McDonald house, children’s hospital, and nursing homes. One will be donated to Habitat for Humanity for a benefit auction.

The scraps of the fabric were used to make 54 dog toys. These go to shelters and local police canines.

The ladies have finished up for this winter, but you can always volunteer to join them next winter. You do not need to be a member of the Batesville United Methodist Church. The only qualification needed is to be someone who enjoys a good time.
