Hometown Hero Banner Project

Barnesville council member Robyn Misner announced that The American Legion Riders, Post #168 are undertaking a “Hometown Hero” banner project honoring military veterans.

The banners will be hung from the decorative street light poles in the downtown and on standard poles outside of the business district.

The cost to sponsor a banner is $68, the cost of each banner and hardware. No profit will be made on the project.

Forms may be secured at the American Legion Post. Once the order is complete and paid, applicants need to take a picture of the veteran to Art Works, 110 East Main Street, for scanning.
