Haven Youth Brighten Downtown

Youngsters at the Haven Christian Youth Center, 167 E. Main Street, Barnesville, recently brightened the downtown scene with “hope” as they painted a mosaic in the center’s window displaying a rainbow of colors emanating from the Cross, the symbol of the Christian faith.

Lap Blankets Donated to Emerald Pointe

The lady sewers of the Batesville United Methodist Church dropped several of the many lap blankets they created over the winter at Emerald Pointe this past week.  Accepting the donations was Kyle Wojtasek, facility administrator.    

National Day of Prayer – May 1

Services will take place in Barnesville and in Bethesda on Thursday May 1 at 12:00 Noon. 

The Bethesda service will take place at the Bethesda Municipal Building.

The Barnesville service is sponsored by the Barnesville Area Ministerial Association (BAMA).
