Belmont County Heritage Museum Open

Historical artifacts relating to the life of Hendrysburg native and Hollywood star Hopalong Cassidy (William Boyd) are on display at the Belmont County Heritage Museum   

The Belmont County Heritage Museum, located in the former Sheriff’s residence,101 E. Main St. St. Clairsville, opened for the 2025 season Thursday April 10.  The museum is open Thursday – Saturday 10-4, closed 12-1 for lunch.  No fee for entry but donations are accepted. Group Tours are also welcome. Contact Cathryn Stanley, museum director, (740) 695-4359.

Stanley served as the last managing editor of the former Barnesville Enterprise.

The museum displays were updated during the winter.
