Spaghetti Dinner Wrap

Over 200 area residents took part in the annual Barnesville Kiwanis Club Spring Spaghetti Dinner. Helping out were 30 members of the Barnesville High School Key Club! Also helping with sweet treats were students of the BHS Culinary Arts Class.    

The event was sponsored by 15 area businesses and organizations that club members gratefully thank for their support. They are Avenues of Barnesville, Barnesville Do It Best Hardware, Barnesville Save A Lot, Barnesville Vision Center – Drs. Melissa and Zach Leach, Blossoms, Barnesville VFW Post #2792, Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, Hissom’s Service Center,  Dr. Douglas Huff, J-Mo Meats, Lakeland Foods, Riesbeck’s, Rumer Loudin, Inc., Sonotone Hearing and Woodsfield Savings Bank.  

Third Annual Hickey’s Poker Run – May 10

The third annual run in memory of Stanley Hickenbottom will take place Saturday, May 10. The start location is the Barnesville American Legion Post, 315 E. Church Street.  Check in begins at 10:00 with “kick stands up,” at 11:30 and last bike out at 12:00. All types of vehicles welcome. The rain date is May 17.
