2025 OHA Health Care Worker Award Nominee

The Ohio Hospital Association announced this week that Charles Hamilton, facilities technical specialist at WVU Medicine – Barnesville Hospital, is 2025 OHA Health Care Worker of the Year Award nominee.

In three short years, Hamilton “has become a go-to problem-solver at Barnesville Hospital. Whether repairing HVAC systems or managing a critical water chiller failure, he meets every challenge with commitment and calm”.

A former law enforcement officer and longtime community volunteer, Charles brings leadership and a deep sense of service to everything he does. He prefers to work behind the scenes, but his impact on hospital safety and morale is front and center every day.

The award winner will be announced at the 110th OHA Annual Meeting & Education Summit here in Columbus on May 19-21.
