This is an image of employees of Watt Car and Wheel Company around the turn of the 20th century. Did you know the Watt Center of History and the Arts maintains a colleciton of Watt Company images, records too? They also serve as a depository for historic photos and documents from the greater Barnesville area. Before you throw away old photos and records associated with the area, reach out to Watt volunteers before you relegate items to the “dustbin of history”.
Update on 1951 Senrab. The owner of the book, Virginia “Jenny” Shepherd Mako Hendricks it seems passed away about 15 years ago. The Hendrysburg native ended up in Florida where her daughter still resides. The book was sent to her this past week!
