Members of the Barnesville Shekinah Fellowship are currently on their third trip to Western North Carolina that was devastated by Hurricane Hellene

“We are here once again, serving food and encouragement to a community of people that have gone through some of the most tragic things humans can go through, loss of all property and loss of loved ones”, noted a post on the congregation’s Facebook page.

“Thank you for partnering with Shekinah Christian Fellowship and enabling us to be the hands and feet of our Heavenly Father. This community needs ongoing help –

We love you all. Thank you. We also thank everyone of our team members willing to come and serve so willingly and lovingly”.

Pleasant Ridge Methodist Thanksgiving – Nov. 24

Members and guests of the Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church located in the Stumptown neighborhood southeast of Barnesville will gather for the congregation’s second annual Thanksgiving Dinner. The event will take place on Sunday, November 24 at 4:00 at the Mission.

Hanging of the Greens – November 30

Volunteers are needed to help hang the greens at the Bethesda Christian Church, Saturday, November 30 at 11:30.   A “free pizza lunch” will also take place.
